Recently while Marianne and I were settling to bed for the night I was informed by her that she needed to talk to God before she went to bed. I told her that I thought that was a very good idea and to my surprise, this is what she had to discuss with him. "Dear God, could you please fix my Grandma? She has some bad stuff in her, but it was taken out, but it would be great if you could just fix her now. Thank you." I could hardly keep myself from crying, that was so sweet and so unexpected from a child her age.
In other goings on, we had a very busy weekend. Our Aunt Wendy made a special trip from Louisville, Kentucky to be here while both Marianne and myself were Baptised on Saturday night at Easter Vigil. I was nervious that Marianne would not fully understand what was going on and might be too scared to lean into the Baptismal Font, but she was so excited for it that she acctually giggled as she was Baptised. It just goes to show that you should never assume what your kids can or can't handle, cause they will always surprise you!
